The 'break-in' period for him is usually a week or so for his other Docs in the past, however these only took a day or two to get used to and he didn't get blisters on his heels. Weight is 468 gram making it quite lightweight. I really wanted to love these boots, however a month shy of a year they have been compromised. The fact that the leather is so easy to pinch and fold, even around the heel, is a clear indicator that it’s not tough. I love being that way. It’s no different than using the heritage selling point.
