Heather got hit not too long after that, as she was seated across the isle from Lauren and me.

It took us about 1.5 hours from the start of the path to the Fort, with time in there to stop for photographs. It is literally right on the coast, and we were able to see the Atlantic Ocean (there will most likely be a photo or two attached).

I have made it “home” safely again, and am planning on writing that post tomorrow since it will be a long one and take some time, which I unfortunately do not have tonight.
