This is a free DLC which has introduced two new bikes the Erik Buell Racing 1190SX and Erik Buell Racing 1190RX along with six new events including the trophy event. Oh geez people procrastinated and waited til the absolute last possible minute and are upset. There are also 8 bikes available through free update or paid DLC packs. if wanting to get everything.
@Foxhound Not same scenario at all. @redd214 fair play. Fans of the Driveclub games on the PlayStation 4 will no longer be able to play them online next year, as the servers for Driveclub, Driveclub VR, and Driveclub Bikes will be shutting down in 2020.
Am I right in thinking this is unique? I doubt they can do anything, but you never know.

Glad that didn't get delisted 2 days early. Now it's delisted. There's far more to get upset about than a 5 year old game getting delisted.
The bike DLC is the only way to get the bikes, because like you said it is an expansion and like a whole new game. Talk about first world problems. DRIVECLUB BIKES DLC Trophies. You can still get the physical version of both games but obviously no DLC. Yeah, no sympathy. Its just an option and will remain that way beyond 10 years. It's like you got the job five years ago, had all the time in the world to sign the contrast, didn't, got a warning that you had up to a certain date to sign it and then waited until the last minute. @Dodoo with the number of different vehicles/manufacturers represented in this game, I highly doubt the current sales support keeping the licenses in tact forever. Not to mention a system that may be working when put into storage may not be working when taken out in 10 years. The game was also sold as a separate product (in digital form) so that wasn't an obstacle. Yeah, it always winds me up that people are "upset" about this kind of thing.
And its not like we dont have enough plastic too recycle for some discs.
Driveclub had received a new Bike mode via DLC that can also be downloaded as a standalone game.

It's another kick in the teeth for the title, as it has become clear that many potential buyers were waiting on one last fire sale before it was gone forever tonight. The official wording on the delisting of DriveClub was as follows: PlayStation will cease selling DRIVECLUB, DRIVECLUB VR, DRIVECLUB Bikes and all DLC and season passes related to those games from 31st August 2019, at 23:59 BST. It takes around 15-20 hours to unlock all of the trophies in the base game on PlayStation 4.
They had all this time already. any purchasable DLC no. Makes no sense to me. Only for the Driveclub Main game all dlc can be bought with the/a season pass.

I only just remembered to grab the VR version last night. If you didn't pick it up, it's your fault, no-one else's. A little sad to see this disappear.
Not a job that is an important part in everyone's life. I think you can get one bike from the expansion without actually buying it, and I wanted to try out the bike for myself before I buy the expansion. I haven't played it in a while but Sony could 100% have supported it for longer. It's easy! Not only was it available for 5 years, it's been in multiple sales during that time, and was even free for a while. [source store.playstation.com, via resetera.com]. There were also used copies of the game on sale, so anyone here that wants to buy the game should be well covered.
I love the main game, one of the best racers I've ever played and although I don't have PSVR I figured I'd grab the VR version just in case. . so only some of the content will be available to you... which plain sucks. Very definition of your business. But honestly I doubt there are many still playing 6 when 7 is already out and 8 is most likely next year. , @Flaming_Kaiser awesome happy for you, I will continue buying digital as it works better for us, @redd214 Ofcourse but i always like the option to choose.
