Dilma Rousseff, president of Brazil, has confirmed her presence at the official opening ceremony, scheduled for March 6, of CeBIT 2012 (www.cebit.com), the largest international exhibition and conference of digital business in the world. Last year CeBIT received 4.200 organizations of 70 countries and was visited by over 330.000 professionals.
Besides participating to the ceremony in Hanover, Germany, the Brazilian president shall receive in the central pavilion of Brazil, the Chancellor Angela Merkel. Together they will visit the fair, where they’ll know the solutions of companies and institutions present.
With the partner country status and seeking to be internationally projected as a producer of advanced technologies, Brazil is occupying six booths in Cebit 2012 distributed between different flags.
The Brazilian delegation will have a total area exceeding 1,000 m². Over 30 companies and about 10 public institutions already confirmed their presence, between them, Solusoft Informática (www.solusoft.info).
Brazil’s projects participation includes a wide parallel programming, consisting in social events to expand the network of business relationships, meetings with international media and a technical seminar and trade between SOFTEX, Brasscom and Bitkom, the German association of IT companies.
