Last May (15th-17th), Solusoft attended BITS South America, in Porto Alegre, Brazil. It was the second edition of one of the most important South American IT events, offering a wide agenda at the Global Conferences, addressing the current themes concerning the technology evolution.
In parallel, many companies and organizations presented their products and services in an exhibition pavilion, where visitors could know a little from what the companies have to offer.
Another activity was the 2-days business meeting between Brasilian and foreign companies, which demonstrated interest in knowing each other and find out what their expertise can complement their offers and see how a partnership can be established. At this matchmaking, Solusoft had the opportunity to talk to more than 10 companies from countries like Argentina, Bolivia, Germany, Peru, Portugal and Romania.
“Some of them demonstrated strong interest in being a VAR for complementing its product with simple and reliable BI (Business Intelligence) features. Other companies even had interest in acting as a distributor of Solusoft’s BI software tools.”, said Solusoft’s director.
BITS had the following exhibition sectors: Business IT and IT Infrastructure; Banks and finances; Communication B2B; Internet 2.0; Browsing, Transport and Logistic; Public Sector; Conferences; Distribution and Resale; Telecom and Mobile; Software and Services.
The event was attended by 183 enterprises from 18 countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Hungary, Malta, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan and United States). In 2013, FIERGS Event Center will promote BITS, from May, 14th to 16th.
