The objective of this training was to ensure that both agencies have an understanding of each other’s working procedures and equipment that could be used to perform an effective rescue. A tradition of personal, efficient, and courteous service to the community has been the goal of the St. Helena Police Department for more than 70 years since its inception in 1940. The St Helena Police Directorate provides a wide range of public services to our communities on St Helena and Ascension Island. The improvements to the Police Directorate are enabling the teams to meet these new challenges and to deliver an even higher service standard to our community.
